Fill C. Brewer

Fill Curtis Brewer was a son of the late Filmore Sherman Brewer and Dorsey Lee Crenshaw Brewer. Fill was born June 24, 1944, in the community of Knob Lick, Kentucky. He attended school there and afterwards enlisted in the Army and later the United States Airforce where he served his country proudly. Fill then moved to Louisville, Kentucky making his home. He was employed as a waiter at Mike Linning's Restaurant, where he interacted with the patrons, greeting them with a friendly smile and upmost courtesy for 40 plus years. Fill was a lifelong member of the Old Blue Springs Baptist Church. He loved his family and being able to share stories of his life and giving words of wisdom to the generations following him gave Fill much worth. Fill would do anything for anyone, whether it was lending a helping hand, or being that listening ear, you could count on Fill for being there for you, and of course he was always ready for a good game of Bingo.
The Bible says, "Well done my good and faithful servant" and Fill heard those words as he passed peacefully, Monday, July 20, 2024, at the age of 80 years, and 26 days.
Preceding Fill in death along with his parents, were his, sisters and brothers, Juanita Driver, Ray Ward Brewer, Maxine Shirley, and Earl Dale Brewer, aunt, Geneva Crenshaw, great niece, Dominique Brewer.
To cherish the memory of Fill Curtis Brewer, uncle Avious Crenshaw he leaves his nephews and nieces, Lenardos (Lisa) Shirley, Stewart (Shannon) Brewer, Larmarrous (Bonnie) Shirley, Alex (Ramona) Brewer; great nephews and nieces, Latrel (DeAngela) Shirley, Courtland (Desaray) Brewer, LaNisha Shirley, Kaelyn Taylor, LaVander Shirley; great-great nieces and nephews, Holly Brewer, DeAnt'e Martin, Jordynn Martin, Marcellus Brewer and La'Zayva Rice; many other relatives and friends.
