Fiona Mary FitzPatrick of Larchmont, New York, passed away on February 8th, 2025, at the age of 21. Born at Greenwich Hospital to Edward and Christine FitzPatrick, Fiona was the eldest of two children. She grew up in Larchmont and attended Chatsworth Avenue Elementary School, Hommocks Middle School, and Mamaroneck High School.
From a young age, Fiona had a deep passion for fashion and was a gifted artist, with a particular love for watercolor painting. She enjoyed creating beautiful paintings, often gifting her friends’ pets as personalized pieces. Throughout school, Fiona excelled academically, earning a spot in the Honors Society. Outside of her studies, she was active in sports, particularly tennis and ice skating, and also enjoyed soccer, lacrosse, and swimming. Fiona attended the University of Maryland in College Park where she studied neuroscience.
One of Fiona’s favorite places was Martha’s Vineyard, where she spent summers at her friend’s family home. She also treasured time at her grandparents’ log cabin in Connecticut, creating lasting memories on the lake.
Fiona will be remembered as a brilliant, kind, and humorous person. She had an incredible wit, a compassionate heart, and was always full of fun. Her adventurous spirit led her to enjoy activities like sailing and skiing, adding joy to every experience she had. Fiona’s warmth and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents, Edward and Christine; her brother, Teddy; her grandparents, Paul and Ellen Jancski of Pelham and Margaret FitzPatrick of Larchmont; and her many cousins, particularly Logan Jancski. Fiona will be missed by her large circle of family and friends. She is predeceased by her grandfather, Edward FitzPatrick.
A celebration of Fiona's life will be held on Thursday, February 13th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pelham Funeral Home, located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, February 14th, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, located at 575 Fowler Avenue, Pelham Manor, New York. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
