Flint Breckinridge

Flint Breckinridge went peacefully to Our Lord on Sunday November 3, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was beside his loving wife, Karin Johnson Breckinridge.
Flint was a devoted husband, father, brother and cousin. He is survived by his son Hunter Breckinridge, his brother Phillips Breckinridge (Elaine) as well as his cousins Susan Kemp (Brad), Sheri Renfrow (Kent), Russell Renfrow (Candy), Carter Renfrow, and Gibson Bardin.
Flint loved to play golf and recently enjoyed a trip to the St. Andrews Course in Scotland where he hit a bucket of balls. He also loved politics, especially his years as an Oklahoma state representative and a member of the Pardon and Parole Board.
Flint grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended Holland Hall. He completed high school at the Blue Ridge Preparatory School in Virginia. His next four years were enjoyed at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri where he was a proud member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He loved to travel. This love inspired his first business – owning a travel agency. In recent years, he became owner of American Shade Design. Lastly, he was a great dog lover and will be sorely missed by his girls Maggie and Daisy.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Flint's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, St. Matthews, followed by a reception starting at a 11 a.m. at Hurstbourne Country Club, 9000 Hurstbourne Club Lane. There will be a visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2024, at the funeral home. Flint will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa, OK at a later date.
