Flora Moore

Flora Nutt Moore, age 78, of Arabi, passed away Monday September 1, 2025, at Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehab. Flora was born on February 22, 1947, in Ashburn, GA, to Robert and Monteen Nutt, formally of Ashburn, GA. She worked as a Air Conditioning Technician for Marvair. Flora was of the Baptist Faith. For the past 13 years, she was a full-time "Nana" to her granddaughter, Sydnee (known as Tinker), who was her whole world. Flora is survived by two daughters, Sherry Patterson (Chris), and their daughter, Sydnee Patterson, all of Arabi, GA, and Pam (Steve) Calhoun of Pineview, GA; brothers, Billy Joe Nutt (Sandy), and Gary Nutt both of Ashburn, GA.; sisters, Patricia Vaughn (Dellyn) of Franklin, NC, and Mary Jane Beasley of Cordele; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2025, with the funeral to follow at Rainey Family Funeral Services, Inc., Cordele, GA.
