Floreca Yvonne Reed

Yvonne Reed, age 91, of Macon, MO passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the Samaritan Hospital in Macon. She was born on October 31, 1933 to Monta and Orpha Souther of Ethel, MO. She married Waldo Reed of College Mound; he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Tumlin (Greg) of Macon, MO, Linda Jackson (John) of Boonville, MO; grandchildren, Tania Pagliai (CF) of Excello, MO, Nick Tumlin of Columbia, MO; great-grandsons, Ethan Pagliai (Jenna), and Dylan Pagliai (Kailee) of Excello, MO; special great-great-granddaughter, who she loved so much, Gia Pagliai; one sister, Thelma Souther of Macon, MO; special friends, Ada Farmer and Karen Stewart of Macon; and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Berta Wait; brother, Hobert Souther; stepson, Wallace Reed; and granddaughter, Wendy Peacher.

Yvonne worked at the Gaslight and Long Branch Restaurant for many years. She loved walking the Long Branch dam daily, mowing her yard, playing cards, bird watching, her church and Sunday School class, and spending time with family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Graveside service will be 1:00 pm, Monday, July 14, 2025, at the College Mound Cemetery in College Mound, MO, with Bro. John Snider officiating. Memorials may be made to the College Mound Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO.
