Florence Asbury of Smyrna, Delaware passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at her home. Florence was 79.
Florence is survived by her two daughters, Alice Davis and her husband Shawn also of Smyrna, DE, and Angela Knight and her husband Eric of Clayton, DE; and four grandchildren, Madison Knight, Katie Davis, Dylan Knight and Kyle Davis. She is also survived by her sisters, Carol Fraley, Bonnie Campell, Patricia Smith, Tina Hession and Sadie MacLeish. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Frazier Asbury.
Florence will be remembered most for her love of traveling, camping and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time with family and listening to Elvis Presley music. Florence was always filled with laughter and a playful sense of humor, and she will be missed.
A service and burial will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, that will begin at 1 pm, located at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, Delaware.
