Florence Eastin Obituary
EASTIN, Florence Kathryn - Age 88, of Fenton, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 27, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed bellow her obituary here). Chaplain Paul Reggio officiating. Burial 1:00 PM Friday in Parkview Memorial in Livonia. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contribution to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Florence was born July 30, 1936 in Detroit, the daughter of Walter and Doris (Pisha) Peters. She married Thomas David Eastin, Sr. April 14, 1954 in Detroit and he preceded her in death May 21, 2023. She had resided in Fenton since 1990 coming from West Bloomfield. Florence had been employed by Ace Hardware in Linden. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards with her siblings, playing bingo and going to the casino's.
Surviving are: her children, Barbara Marshall of Otisville, Thomas Eastin, Jr. of Arkansas and Daniel (Vera) Eastin of Fenton; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; 7 siblings; sister-in-law, Marcia (Jim) Waters of Brighton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Doris Peters; and 8 siblings. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
