Florence Frances Guarducci

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Florence Frances Guarducci, age 93, of Denville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2024, at Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice in Fredon Township, New Jersey.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Florence was the daughter of the late Francis and Rose McInerney. She spent five years in East Orange before moving to Montclair and ultimately settling in Rockaway in 1956. A devout Catholic, Florence was an active member of St. Cecilia's Church, where she participated in the St. Cecilia's Rosary Club, St. Cecilia's Senior Citizens, and Rockaway Boro Super Seniors.
Professionally, Florence served as a secretary at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, and at St. Cecilia's Church in Rockaway.
Florence was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Renaldo Guarducci, and her brother Arthur McInerney. She leaves behind a loving family: four children, Laura Guarducci, Ronald Guarducci (Deborah), Karen Corson (Edward), and James Guarducci (Joyce); her seven cherished grandchildren, Amie, RJ, Cassie, Daniel, Dara, Jaclyn, and Kaitlin; and her 9 precious great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home, 20 Keller Ave, Rockaway, NJ 07866. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10:00AM at St. Cecilia's Church. 70 Church St. Rockaway NJ. Interment will follow at St. Cecilia Cemetery in Rockaway.
