Florence Lillie Obituary
Florence Lillie, age 94, of East Canton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
Born July 20, 1931, in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Elias and Mildred (Vincent) Waers. Florence was employed at the Top-O-The-Mark Hotel in East Canton. She was a member of the Center Church of the Brethren, where she especially enjoyed time spent with the quilting club.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Lillie; her children, Debbie Morris and Dennis Lillie; as well as one sister and five brothers.
She leaves behind her children, Kenny Lillie, Gail Sutton, and Sandra Vaughn; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one sister, all of whom will cherish her many memories.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, August 24, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 25, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
