Florence was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
In addition to being a homemaker, excellent cook, and gardener, Florence was a seamstress and retired from the Miss Elaine Garment Factory in Ste. Genevieve. Florence was an experienced and avid quilter and enjoyed making quilts to share with her family. She loved her family and spending time with/caring for them throughout the years. She and her husband Glennon (deceased) had 8 children, 20 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. Her final years were spent at Parkwood Meadows where she enjoyed friendships and her self-appointed "work" of folding towels. Florence was sweet, funny, and caring and demonstrated a life of love and service to others. In addition to sewing and quilting, she enjoyed playing bingo and scrabble, and doing puzzles. She will be deeply missed.
