Florence (Levine) Pearlman Mudrick died on May 25 in Boca Raton Florida following a short illness. She was 98. Florence was born in the Bronx, New York. She was the daughter of Isacc and Minnie Levine and was one of five sisters (the middle one). Florence lived in the Bronx until she met her first husband Morton Pearlman and moved to Washington DC in 1951.
Florence was lucky to have 2 wonderful husbands over her lifetime. She was the widow of Morton Pearlman and Max Mudrick. Devoted mother to Ira and Gary Pearlman, and mother-in law to Cindy and Susan Pearlman. Cherished grandmother of Megan (Scott), Matthew, Michelle and Amy and great grandmother of Leo. Florence was fortunate to find love a second time and was the devoted stepmom to Victor and Terry and step grandmother to Katie and Bailey. Loving sister to the late Rose Ratnoff and Bessie Hills and surviving sisters Helen Zukerman and Alice Ochital. Florence is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her many relatives and friends appreciated Florence's zeal for life and her sense of humor. Most recently while living at an assisted living facility, Florence was known as "quite a character" and the "feisty one". She loved walking, which was instrumental in living a long healthy life. Knitting was her passion and made many blankets, sweaters and scarves for family and friends.
