Florence A. (Panaggio) Paoletti, "Flo", passed serenely to her well-deserved heavenly rest on April 14, 2025.
Born December 1, 1926, Flo was a long-time Administrative Assistant for the Newton School System and was known and loved by generations of children who became parents and grandparents while she managed the offices of Carr and Cabot schools. She was also an active member of the Newton Senior Center and lent her skills to the Newton Retirement Community as Treasurer.
She was predeceased by her dearly loved husband, Eugene Paoletti, former Newton Police Officer, and her youngest son, Richard. She is survived by sons Paul and Stephen Paoletti, and their spouses, Susan Ford and Maren Paoletti and third daughter-in-law, Marie Lorrey, Richard's wife. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Jill, Christine, Stephen and Paul.
There will be private services for Florence at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St, on May 30. There will be a time of contemplation and prayer for Flo in the rear of the church from 9:30am -10:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30am.
Anyone wishing to honor Florence may make a donation to the Newton Senior Center.
