Mrs. Toland was a member of Providence A. M. E. Church where she was a member of the Usher Board and the Trustee Board. She was also a member of Woman's Home Aid Society. Mrs. Toland was a graduate of Richlex High School.
Mrs. Toland is survived by her husband, Henry Ellis Toland; children, Deirdra Felecia Toland Singleton and Henry Jerome Toland; siblings, Juanita Barron Green, Tamera Barron, Paul White, Sr. George White, Kenneth Barron, William Barron; granddaughters, Eryka Singleton and Courtney Singleton; daughter-in-law, Jacquelyn Goines Toland; son-in-law, Reverend Delbert H. Singleton, Jr., sisters-in-law, Lillie Mae Lindsey, Prosperity, SC and Princetta White, Irmo, SC; brother-in-law, Kenny Green; other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Lower Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church. Burial will follow at Providence A. M. E. Church cemetery.
