Mrs. Jo Patricia Adams was born in Newberry, South Carolina to the late Collier Caldwell, Sr. and the late Susie Maude Williams. She passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
Ms. Adams was a member of Woman's Home Aide Society #50. Ms. Adams loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed sitting outside on the porch drinking her Coca-Cola. She enjoyed her flowers and going shopping with her friends.
Ms. Adams was predeceased by her brothers, Willie Otis Davis and Collier Caldwell, Jr and granddaughter, Alicia S. Dominick.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her children, Patti Sue Williams, Brenda Kay Williams, Kim Diane Williams and John Walter Adams all of Newberry, SC; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, sisters, Betty Jo Goodwin of Blair, SC, Carol Boyd, Joyce (Steve) Wise, Mary Caldwell, Erica (Lewis) Caldwell and Connie (Richard) Jones; brothers, Thomas (Pamela) Caldwell, David (Jackquelln) Caldwell, and Timothy Caldwell all of Newberry, SC; Carter Smith of Clinton, SC; Lance Smith of Silverstreet, SC and Kenny Earl Smith; one aunt, Mary Harris of Washington, DC; one uncle, Henry Caldwell of Aiken, SC; one brother-in-law, devoted friends, Brenda Alexander, Gladys Hill, Betty Wheeler, God daughter, Glendora Jones of Greenwood, SC, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
