Floyd Mark Anderson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, in Checotah, Oklahoma. He was born on January 20, 1956, in Seminole, Oklahoma, to Mark Edward and Violet Lorene Anderson. Mark lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure, making memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Mark grew up in Seminole, where he completed his education at Seminole High School, laying the groundwork for a life filled with many achievements and enduring relationships. In 1975, he married the love of his life, Delma Moore, forging a partnership that would last a lifetime. Together, they navigated the joys and challenges of life, creating a family that became the center of Mark’s world.
Mark is survived by his devoted wife, Delma Anderson; his children, Gayla DeRoboam, Jamie Gullett, and Debra Cano; and ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who were the light of his life. He leaves behind his brother Clark Anderson and sister Norma Kersey, along with a wealth of cherished friends and extended family who will miss his kind spirit and infectious smile.
Mark was not just a father; he was a guiding light and a source of unconditional love for his children. His legacy continues through his ten cherished grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life. Mark was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and his unwavering dedication to his family.
A man of many interests, Mark found great joy in the great outdoors. His passion for hunting and fishing brought him countless moments of peace and happiness, as well as cherished memories with family and friends. These hobbies reflected his appreciation for nature and simple pleasures, and they served as the backdrop for many family gatherings and shared adventures.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Mark Edward and Violet Lorene Anderson, and his brothers, Jerry Anderson and Billy Anderson. Their memories will forever be part of Mark's legacy.
Mark's life was marked by a steadfast commitment to those he loved. His laughter resonated in every room he entered, and his stories brought warmth and joy to all who were fortunate enough to hear them. He had an incredible ability to connect with those around him, forming friendships that would last a lifetime.
Mark Anderson will be remembered as a man who lived for his family, embraced life with open arms, and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he loved. His laughter, wisdom, and warmth will be missed, but his legacy will live on in the stories shared by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
