Floyd A. Burdick

Floyd A. Burdick, known affectionately as Sonny, passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2024, at the age of 57. Born on April 8, 1966, in Racine, Wisconsin.
Sonny was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He was a mechanic and heavy equipment operator. His work was a reflection of his passion for understanding how things worked and his joy in solving complex mechanical puzzles. Sonny treasured the great outdoors. He was often found riding his motorcycle through the winding roads of Wisconsin, a testament to his love for freedom and adventure. His enthusiasm for motorcycles extended beyond riding; he also enjoyed working on them, often spending hours in his garage tinkering with engines. His love for mechanics was matched by his love for his family.
Sonny leaves behind a beloved daughter who was the light of his life, a mother who instilled in him the values of hard work and integrity, a brother and stepbrother who shared in many of his outdoor adventures, and sisters and stepsisters who will miss his hearty laugh and warm presence. Sonny's life was a testament to the power of following one's passions and the importance of family and friendship. His impact on the lives of those around him was profound, and his memory will continue to inspire and comfort his loved ones in the years to come. As the sun sets on the life of Floyd A. A private graveside service will be held, the Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon is assisting the family with arrangements.
