Floyd A. Edwards, 95, of Oskaloosa, died Friday, May 10, 2024 at F.W. Huston Sr. Living Center at Winchester. Floyd was born May 23, 1928 at Oskaloosa, the son of Arthur Shirley and Ella "Mae" Fourtner Edwards. He was a 1946 graduate of Oskaloosa High School. He served in the U.S. Army from January 2, 1952 to September 19, 1953 during the Korean conflict. He worked 46 years as a Surveying Engineer for constructions companies, retiring in 2001. He was a member of Oskaloosa United Methodist Church.
Survivors include, two sons, Robb (Sally) Edwards, Del Ray Beach, FL, Richard Edwards, Lawrence, KS and numerous cousins and extended family.
Cremation Care is planned. Inurnment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa at a later date.
