Floyd LeRoy Ferguson, 91, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2025 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth. Born on February 15, 1934 in Bremen, Floyd was the son of Charles and Villa Fern Ferguson.

Floyd proudly graduated from Argos High School in 1952. He went on to marry Carol Cramer on October 4, 1953 in Kokomo and together they raised their children, William, Floyd, and Steven. Floyd held a dedicated career with UPS for over 25 years before his retirement in 1992.

In his free time, Floyd enjoyed working on various woodworking projects. He took immense pride in the projects he made and meticulously ensured they were to his standard.

Through the years, Floyd embodied being a family man. He made cherished memories with his family camping in the area when the children were growing up and on the monthly camping trip with the Pathfinders Camping Association. When he earned the role of being a grandfather, Floyd found a new joy in life. He and Carol spent winters in Winter Haven, FL for twenty-six years, where they enjoyed the warmth of the Florida sun.

Surviving is his beloved wife, Carol; children, William (Deb) Ferguson, Floyd (Sandra) Ferguson, and Steven (Angie) Ferguson; grandchildren, William, Andrew, Matthew, Kelsie, Kayla, Samantha, Stevie, and Noah; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd (Linda) Ferguson; sister-in-law, Nancy (Jim) Winger; along with many nieces and nephews.

Floyd is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Villa; siblings, Violet Ham, Bernice Ott, Melvin Ferguson, Robert Ferguson, Margie Albright, Donald Ferguson, and Clifford Ferguson; in-laws, Arden and Julia Cramer; and brother-in-law, Francis Cramer.
