Floyd Richard Hall, born October 25, 1933, in Knob Noster, Missouri, passed away peacefully.
He was the son of Ben and Laura Hontz Hall and the last surviving of their eleven children.
Floyd spent most of his life in and around Sweet Springs, Missouri. A hard worker, he served on the Special Road District and worked as a mechanic, in tree service, and house painting. He loved the outdoors and was an avid coon hunter. Floyd also had a deep love for music-he played guitar at dances and was always ready to get up and dance himself.
Floyd gave his life to Christ and was baptized, a commitment that brought him peace.
He is survived by his son, Tim (Debbie) Hall; three grandsons, Jason (Keshia) Hall, Ryan Hall, and Lucas Hall; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters-Anna McKeage, Maudie Goans Floyd, Minnie Leora Brown, and Thelma Iliff; and six brothers-John, Otto, Sammie, Seaton, Gilbert, and Russell.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., at the Payne Cemetery in Knob Noster, Missouri.
