Floyd David lngram (Chief/Dexter) age 87 of West Hartford passed away on May 3, 2024. Born in Evergreen, AL to the late Burnett and Wynonia (King) Ingram, he has been a resident of West Hartford for over 25 years.
Floyd served his country proudly with the US Army and afterwards explored his creativity in barbering and worked at Norris Barbor Shop as a barber and manager for many years. Floyd was the ultimate sports fan and also enjoyed fishing, and his go to was going to Elizabeth Park every morning to read the daily Hartford Courant newspaper and if you were looking for Floyd and couldn't locate him, he was most likely down at Foxwoods playing his luck and enjoying interacting with people.
Floyd loved and cherished his family and with his huge heart and charming charismatic personality he was loved by all that knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory a longtime companion Linda Lewis of High Point NC; sister, Edna McGoings of Largo, MD; nieces, Tamisha Joell Cannon of Bloomfield, CT, Camille Lee of Windsor, CT, Rosiland Maxwell of Montgomery, AL, Ashley McGoings of Greensboro, NC; nephews, Brian Ingram and his wife Karen of Marlborough, MA, Roderick Maxwell of Texas, Sebrone Lemores Ingram, Stetson Larquis Ingram both from Montgomery, AL; great nephew, Tyrell Lee of Daytona Beach, FL. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Mark lngram, Sebrone lngram, Carl Ingram, James Ingramand John Ingram and his sisters Evelyn Cannon and Eddie Mae Maxwell.

Please accept My Deepest Condolences to the Family Mr. Floyd was a very Pleasant Person, I remember him working at Norris Barber Shop always very nice Sleep Easy You will be truly missed.
