Roy Greaves Obituary
Born on January 17, 1926, in St. Lucy, Barbados. Roy was the son of the late Amanda Greaves and Arthur Ifil. Spending most of his life in Bloomfield, Connecticut, Roy was a dutiful father and husband, an avid crossword puzzle solver, and worked many jobs until he retired as a Connecticut Transit Bus Driver.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Aretha Greaves and two sons, Clyde Boucher and Gerald Greaves. Roy is survived by his children: Anthony Greaves, Carl Greaves, and Marcia Johnson, as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and caring companion, Ms. Idell Williams.
