Funeral services for Floyd Lynn Swaim,78, of Glen Rose, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Russell Crook officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. prior to the service.
Floyd Swaim passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at his home. He was born in Glen Rose on September 10, 1946, the son of Loma (Carter) and Hoyt Swaim.
Floyd retired from Rubbermaid where he worked in logistics. He enjoyed reading, fishing, building things, history, and road trips. He was a member of the Westhill Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Swaim; and brothers, Larry and Marlin Swaim.
Floyd is survived by his daughters, Marla West and husband, Matt, of Southlake, Texas and Courtney Gosdin and husband, Jacob, of Glen Rose; grandson, Levi West; and brother, Warren Swaim and wife, Debbie of Cleburne.
