Fran Burnam Obituary
Fran worked as the secretary to the regional manager for G.T.E.
Fran was born August 17, 1948 in Herrin, IL to Charley T. & Siliva Louise (Downs) Lingle.
Fran married Patrick Burnam in May of 1992 in Herrin, IL. He survives her at their home in Herrin.
She is also survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Amy Meiners of Arrowsmith, IL and Christy & Jeff Olson of Norwalk, IA; son and daughter-in-law, David & Rebecca Burnam of Clarksville, TN; 6 grandchildren, Olivia Meiners, Charlie Meiners, Nicholas Sanders, Samantha Stansbery, Brooke Bunton, and Reagan Groskreutz; 2 great grandchildren, Briar Sanders and Barrett Sanders; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dwayne & Eunice Lingle of St. Louis, MO and Douglas & Bobbi Lingle of West Frankfort, IL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn & Raymon Brown of Bush, IL, Jan Underwood of Herrin, and Beverly & Dustan Gradala of Carterville, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Fran's wishes were to be cremated; a Celebration of Life Service will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home in Herrin. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations be made to Residential Hospice Foundation, 5440 Corporate Drive Ste. 400, Troy, MI 48098; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
