Frances DiPadova Bitter, 73, of Covington, LA, passed away peacefully of natural causes at her residence in Forest Manor Nursing Center on January 22, 2026. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1952 to Raffaelo DiPadova and Anna L. DiPadova.
She lived a full life and her favorite past time was singing with her karaoke machine, and sang for many years in choir at St. Mark’s in Chalmette. She was surely loved by all who came to know her, especially her care givers at STARC and Forest Manor.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Raffaelo and Anna, and her brothers, Michael DiPadova and Christopher DiPadova, and is survived by her sister, Mary D. Krentel, (Jerome), her brother Ralph DiPadova, (Teresa), and, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2026 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E 19th Ave., Covington, LA. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Abbey Cemetery, 75376 River Road, Saint Benedict, LA 70457.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Peter’s Parish Music Ministry.
