Frances Bowles Obituary
Ms. Bowles was a graduate of Mangum High School in Bahama, N.C. She then later graduated from Croft Secretarial and Accounting School in Durham. Ms. Bowles retired as a clerk for Home Security Life Insurance Co. in Durham. She was a member of Grey Stone Baptist Church and Margaret McKinnen Sunday School Class. Additionally, she was a member of Ladies Auxiliary to V. F. W. Post 2740 in Durham.
Ms. Bowles is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 5th at Maplewood Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00 am at Clements Funeral Home in Durham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Duke Health Community Care.
The family is being assisted by Clements Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. in Durham. Online condolences may be sent to www.clementsfuneralservice.com.

I knew Frances Bowles from when I worked at the North Durham banking center. When that location closed I remember the happy smile she had on her face when she noticed that I was transferred to the Northgate locations. She will truly be missed.
