Frances Brown Obituary
Frances first married Ralph France, and her second marriage was to Eugene Brown. She was a nurse's aide and worked in housekeeping at several hospitals and nursing homes in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and also worked for H.K. Porter in Huntington, Indiana. Frances loved to dance.
She is survived by six children: Richard Duane France of Ohio, Randy (Carolyn) France of North Manchester, Rocky (Charlotte) France of Wabash, and Robin France Corn and Russell (Kimberly) France both of North Manchester, and Charles Burk, III, several grandchildren including; Ralph Smith, Amanda Goodpaster, Jeremy France, Ryan France, Daniel France, Rodney France, Jr., Rocky France II, Kyle France, Travis France, Roy France, Mark France, Tylena Corn, Russell France II, Jimmy France, and Lisa Marie Stapleton; several great, great-great, and great-great-great granchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, children; Ralph Jimmy Dale France, Rodney France, Lola France, and Koweba Malik, and three grandchildren; Joseph France, Cory Malik, and Charles Burk, Jr.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
