Frances Charbonneau

Frances Ann Charbonneau passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025 at the age of 74. Born in Hartford, Connecticut to Charles and Josephine Bacewicz, Frances was a kind and gentle soul who touched the hearts of everyone she met. She graduated from Wethersfield High School before moving onto CCSU, where she got a Bachelor's Degree in Education as well as a Master's in Early Childhood Development. She also got another Master's Degree in special Education from St. Joseph, before starting her own business in Wethersfield. She ran the Learning Experience Daycare Service for 18 years before taking a job with the State of Connecticut as a Daycare Licensing Inspector. Fran is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Howard, as well as their son, Daniel. She is also survived by her siblings, John and his wife Lois, Charlie and his wife Lisa; brother-in-law James Charbonneau and sister-in-law Carol Ladany, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday, November 15th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, CT with Services to follow. Burial will take place in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
