Frances Rozella Decker

Frances Rozella (Fran) Decker, age 83, of Versailles passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at her home.
It was on the 21st day of July in 1939 when Leon and Helen (Highley) Jones welcomed their daughter, Frances Rozella into their home in Milo, Mo. Fran was baptized at Pine Street Church, in Nevada, MO when she was 12 years old.
On December 3, 1956, Frances married Rex Decker in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
For many years Frances (Fran) worked at Fridge Food in Versailles. She enjoyed working for Fasco in their distribution and sales department where she retired. After her retirement she worked for BW Graphics which she loved dearly.
Fran was always busy taking care of her husband and her children, but when she did get time to slow down you could find her crocheting and watching her cooking shows and ice road truckers on TV. She enjoyed growing a garden and canning and cooking for her family. She always had a helping hand and a smile to give to friends and family. Fran never met a stranger and was loved and respected by many.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Gilpin and her sister, Donna Hulse.
Left to carry on Fran's legacy is her husband, Rex of Versailles; four sons, Rodney Decker and wife Tyan of Bowie, Texas, Roger Decker of Dixon, Mo, Frank Decker and wife Julie of El Dorado Springs, Mo, Lance Decker and wife Treasa of Versailles and Son-in-law Steve Gilpin of Russellville, Mo.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
In keeping with her wishes she was cremated.
A celebration of Fran's life will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Assembly of God Fireside Center at 501 W Hicks St, Versailles, MO.
The inurnment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Ritchie Cemetery, on Ritchie Road off Hwy T southwest of Versailles., Mo.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home.
