Frances "Fran" Jo Ewing, 78, of Beaumont, Texas, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, after a quiet battle with rapid-onset Alzheimer's. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and teacher, touching every life she encountered.

Frances is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Richard Ewing, and her two daughters, April Hammon and Alexis Kirk. She was a loving grandmother to her five adoring grandchildren - Archer, Roscoe, Emmett, Rhett, and Arden - who will forever cherish her memory.

A lifelong and devout member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Frances found deep purpose in her faith and parish community. She enjoyed fellowship through the 49ers Club and Perpetual Adoration.

Frances was a decorated science teacher at Beaumont Independent School District for over thirty years and a proud member and former president of Delta Kappa Gamma.

Her dedication to serving others extended throughout the Beaumont community. Frances was a dedicated volunteer, offering her time, compassion, and joyful spirit to causes she held dear. She was an avid reader, a film lover, enjoyed playing Mahjong, and found deep comfort in prayer and her Catholic faith.

A celebration of life will be held early next year, with details to be announced at a later date. Her cremation arrangements were handled by Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
