Frances Elizabeth Eyerman, age 85, passed away on February 3, 2026, at SUNY Upstate Medical Center.
Frances was born in Rome on August 27, 1940, to the late Willis Peck and Edith May Look. She graduated from RFA and began her career working for the Rome State School, where she cared and looked after the mentally disabled for many years and retired on June 14, 1996.
Frances is survived by her daughters, Lynn (Don) Scott, of Great Falls, Montana, April Crump of Austin, Texas, Sue (Ed) Klein of Bellport, New York, and Deidra (Richard) Guillory of Orange, Texas; her grandchildren, Shauna (Bill) Chernoff of Syracuse, Jamie (Suyupa) of Syracuse, Clint Crysler of Syracuse, Linda (Doug) Hopp of Great Falls, Montana, Vanessa (Cole) Hobbs of Great Falls, Montana, and Angel (Kody) Kemmis of Billings, Montana; and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Service Jr. who passed on October 19, 2003, and her daughter, Lori Chrysler who died on April 10, 2019.
A private graveside service will be held in the spring at Rome Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
