Frances Fizzano, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully March 16th. She was 76 years old.
Born in Germany to Ed and Mary(Giellessen) Ensworth, Frances spent her early years in Austria before settling in Livorno, Italy. Frances pursued her education at the University of Maryland at Munich, an experience that fostered her life long love of learning and adventure. Shortly after, while living at Camp Darby US Army Base in Livorno, she met the love of her life, Guy Fizzano. The two married and eventually moved to Wallingford, where they built a beautiful life together, raising their two children and later welcoming four cherished grandchildren.
Frances was a woman of many talents and passions. A longtime member of Springhaven Country Club, she was an accomplished golfer, even winning the women's club championship one year. She also enjoyed her bowling league, playing cards with the girls, book club, and tennis. She was also active in various ways at St John Chrysostom. Her creativity shone through in the many hats, socks, scarves, and golf club covers she lovingly knitted for friends and family.
She was an incredible cook, a gifted conversationalist, and a professional shopper who could find the best deals anywhere. If you asked, she would always tell you how little she spent on her latest purchase. She loved the thrill of the slot machines at the casino and the joy of traveling with family and friends. But above all, her greatest love was her four grandchildren. Whether at their beach house in Stone Harbor, on family vacations or cheering them on at their activities, she always made time for them, creating memories they will cherish forever.
Frances leaves behind her devoted husband of 55 years, Guy Fizzano, her two children, Rocky(Megan) and Robyn(Jim Riemer) as well as her four beloved grandchildren, Nick, Carly(fiancé Connor), Katie and Lauren. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her warmth, wit, and unwavering love for her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Friday, March 28th 9am-10:45am followed by her Funeral Mass 11am all in church at St John Chrysostom church 617 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, Pa 19086. Interment private. Contributions in Fran's memory may be made to the Penn Frontotemporal Degeneration Center Gift Fund.

I remember when Fran. Used to babysit us in Tirrenia. Our parents were best friends. They lived around the corner. 7 little Kopsicks against the babysitter. It always ended with Frances dragging some of us to bed, because we tried to defy bedtime. Lol Good memories! I looked up to her!
Guy.. I remember when Fran got with you. . . I was talking with my sister, Mimi, and I asked her what ever happened to Rocky? She told me you were Rocky!! Hi Rocky! I never knew you as Guy. Go figure! She was so much in love with you! Were you a Lieutenant?

Fran was a special lady who was always so welcoming to family and friends. I loved the times we were together and never spoke to her without a good laugh. She will Rest in Peace because of the way she spent her life on earth.
God Bless her and all those she leaves behind.
