We are heartbroken to share that Thomas Patrick Casey V has passed, following a hard 2+ year battle with metastatic melanoma. He went through five craniotomies with grit and a sense of humor that never quit. Every time, he was sure he'd bounce back - and more often than not, he did.

Tom was a walking punchline, the guy who could drop a sarcastic comment in any situation and make you laugh when you least expected it. Life was just more fun when he was around - especially with a Jäger in one hand, a beer in the other, and his crew at Johnny B's nearby.

He was a self-made, master electrician, and took pride in his work, always sharp and reliable - it's no surprise he named his company Proficient Electric. But it was the way he made people feel that really stuck. He had a magnetic energy, the kind that filled a room with jokes, endless movie quotes, and a few wildly inappropriate South Park references.

We're so thankful to his doctors at the University of Penn Hospital, who went above and beyond to make these last years more comfortable for him.

He's reunited now with his parents, Thomas Patrick Casey IV and Joan Casey (née Johnson); step mother Mary Casey (née Sarian); and grandparents, Thomas Patrick Casey III, Catherine Casey (née Walsh), Thomas J. Johnson, and Mary Johnson (née Cades).

He is survived by his wife, Bridget (née Magee); his siblings, Shannon Casey, John Casey (wife Heather), and Samantha Casey; Aunt Doreen; and his beloved nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a big, loving extended family - including his in-laws, who were more than just relatives by marriage. They were part of the everyday fun: sharing laughs, loyalty, and countless late-night Instagram DMs that kept everyone entertained.

And of course, he's survived by the friends who made his world full of energy, sarcasm, and the kind of laughter that sticks with you long after the night ends.

He's gone, but never forgotten. And we know he'd want us to raise a glass, crack a joke, and keep things just a little bit weird.

The family will receive visitors this Saturday at D'Anjolell Memorial Home at 908 S Providence Rd, Wallingford, PA 19086. A viewing will be held from 10:00am to 12:00 noon, followed immediately by a memorial service at 12:00pm. All are welcome to join in remembering Tom - sharing stories, laughter, and love.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's name to the Kevin Cain Memorial Foundation at http://www.kevincain.org, which provides financial assistance to cancer patients and their families.
