Larry Guy Casey, 79, died October 6, 2025, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born September 3, 1946, in Hutchinson, to Donald Leroy and Georgia Bell (Miller) Casey.

Larry graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1965. Directly following graduation, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps, serving for three years. Larry worked at Morton Salt as the shipping supervisor for over 40 years, before retiring in 2013. He enjoyed spending time on his property, hunting and fishing.

On December 24, 2008, he married Debra Ann Brandewiede, in Hutchinson.

Larry is survived by: wife of over 16 years, Debra Casey of Hutchinson; children, Sam (Natalie) Casey of Jefferson City, MO, Cody (Audrie) Casey of Salina, Jenna (Kyle) Poppelreiter, Nick Reuber, both of Hutchinson; and grandchildren, Noah, Emma, Levi, Abbie, James, Chandler and Khloe.

He was preceded in death by: his parents and brother, Michael Casey.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd. Hutchinson, with Reverend William J. Green, Sr. officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Marine Corps. Friends may sign his book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
