Frances D. Gilbert

Frances Darlene (Faith) Gilbert, 85, passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2023.
Frances was born on April 27, 1937 in Washington, Indiana, to Elmer Faith and Lola (Miller) Vaughn.
Frances was a seamstress at Deaconess Hospital for over 20 years. Her passion for crafting and sewing poured into her home as she made her children clothing and blankets. Frances was a natural caretaker and loved fiercely. Frances was the heart of her family. Frances had a special love for animals, she adored cats and horses. She looked forward to Sunday Football cheering on the Colts with her son. She was an active member of the Eagles #414. Above all, she cherished time with her loved ones.
Frances was preceded in death by her beloved eldest daughter Cindy Shaw; her parents Elmer Faith and Lola (Miller) Vaughn; her brother Carl Faith; her husband Leroy Graham; and her husband Donald Gilbert.
Frances is survived by her children Richard Graham (Pam Stroud), Leanne Graham, Chris (Tracey) Graham, Darlene Lofton; grandchildren Brad Shaw, Lori Schenetzke, Mike (Tonya) Davis, Jennifer Davis, Richard Davis, Brandie Tinsley, April Mobley (Jason James), Randy (Bridgette) Lupfer, Mandy Lupfer, Shawn (Kim) Graham, Amanda Cardwell (Micah), Bobby Graham, Jennifer Carroll (Cody), Chastity McLean (Tinker), Zachary Graham, Kary Lofton, Megan Lofton (Doug); 28 Great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; cousin Steven (Karen) Grannon; sister-in-law Sylvia Edwards; nieces and nephews Debbie (Gene) Murray, Tammy (Mehran) Jalilpour, Terry Edwards, Danny (Courtney) Edwards, Guy (Stephanie) Faith, Grey (Debbie) Faith, Candy Faith, Carla (Sean) Porter; and many great nieces, great nephews, and extended family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 3-7pm and following on Friday, January 20, 2023 with visitation at 10am until the time of service at 12pm at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
