Frances Hassan Obituary
Frances E. Hassan, age 98 of Trenton, died on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Frances was raised in Ferndale, Michigan and graduated from Ferndale St. James High School as class president in 1945.
A watercolor artist and china painter, Frances, and her late husband Morris, were active in the Downriver Arts and Crafts Guild. Their paintings were displayed and sold at the Toledo Art Museum Store.
Frances was a loving mother to Bruce (Sandra) Hassen, Eric Hassen (Anne Shaheen-Herndon), Keith Hassan (Sheila Oliver), dear sister of the late Mary Caulkins, and beloved aunt to Susan Glaser. She is survived by longtime friends Norm Kozma and Barbara MacGregor. The family would like to offer special thanks to nurse Kelly Shaw.
