Frances Wright Landreth, 90, of Brevard, passed away on November 12, 2024. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late William Frederick and Edna Kinsey Wright. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Landreth; her sons Richard Keith McConnell and Lawrence Edward McConnell.
She enjoyed plants and animals, eating good food…especially good French fries, but nothing like she enjoyed her babies. She enjoyed caring for all her babies, cooking, and telling stories. Never one to mince words, she was always straight-forward in her thoughts.
She loved the Lord and she loved her family.
Her loving survivors include her sister Betty; her children: Roger, Kevin and Kim; grandchildren: Chris, October, Richard, Carrie, Jennifer, Jeremy, Anthony, Serena, Mikayla, Victoria, Elizabeth, Katarina, Tyler and Cody; and a number of great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Frances Landreth will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Carr’s Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations.
