Frances Eloise Lyons,87, of Sulphur, LA passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Frances was born on November 14, 1936, in Lake Charles, LA to Oscar and Eloise Redding. She was raised in Big Woods, LA and enjoyed being around friends and family the most. Frances loved working on various things in her past time including sewing, crafting, gardening, and cooking. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sulphur. She will always be known for the love that was shown to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Patricia Lyons Luent (Phil) of Sulphur, LA, Timothy Wayne Lyons (Mary Carol) of Titusville, FL, and Andrew Kevin Lyons (Kristi) of Sulphur, LA; two granddaughters, Tiffany Courvelle Arnold (Stephen) and Tammy Courvelle Peveto (Derek); grandson, Harley Johnson; and three great grandchildren, Cole Peveto, Reese Peveto, and Brynn Arnold; and six siblings.
She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Billy Wayne Lyons.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of services on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Burial will be at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, LA. Pastor Jeremy Blocker will officiate services.
