Frances Juanita Morgan

Frances Juanita Morgan, lovingly known as "Bozie," passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in Candler, North Carolina.

Born on June 21, 1931, in Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Wayne King and Stella Crawford King; and wife of the late, Carl Robert Morgan, who passed away on March 16, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert "Doug" Morgan, who passed away on February 3, 2026.

Bozie graduated from Candler High School in 1950 and retired from BASF in 1991 with 33 years of service. She was a longtime member of Edgewood Baptist Chruch.

She is survived by her daughter, Robbie Jo Briggs; her son, Roger Morgan and his wife Vicki; her grandchildren: Allen and Traci Morgan, Allison and Jamie Frady, Jennifer Van Der Hoeven, Corey and Jessica Briggs, and Tonya and Jonathan Pence; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Anders Rice & Roper Funeral Home located at 1428 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28806. Rev. Tony Hooper and Rev. Keith Lindsay will officate with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Bozie's spirit will continue to live through the lives she touched and the memories she created, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
