Frances Mullendore Obituary
She was born on July 2, 1945 in Lafayette, to the late Chester L. and Thelma (Fritz) Clayton.
In 1966, she married Randell H. Loy; he was killed in Vietnam in September of 1968. On October 9, 1970, she married Donald L. Mullendore in Otterbein. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2016.
She was a member of Harvest Chapel and loved her church family and all of her Friday night girls. She was like a mother to a lot of people.
Surviving are her children, Donald (Kathy) Mullendore Jr., Bridgett (Bradly) Shepherd, Anthony (Lacy) Mullendore, Donella Toman, all of Lafayette and her sister, Joann Barker of Lafayette. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Bryan, Leva, Elizabeth, Jason, Kyleigh, James, Steven, Sidney, Hagan, Sky, Thadious, Tayler, Tyler, Travis, and Tuttle and 27 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Jim Clayton, and son-in-law, Tony Toman.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tom Camp officiating. Burial will follow at West Point Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
