She was born on August 20, 1955 in Ft. Knox, Kentucky to the late Emmett Raymond Thomas and Sonja Hedwig (Reckstadt) Ciampanelli.
Debby graduated from Jefferson High School.
Debby enjoyed playing Bingo, watching Wheel of Fortune with her mom, going to the casinos, eating Denny's cinnamon pancakes, and loving on her cats. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and best friends, Carol Moore, Dawn Hamilton, and Bonnie Wimberly.
Surviving are her daughters, Erika (Lino) Villalva and Rheanon Funk; her siblings, Ronny (Pam) Thomas, Perry (Julie) Ciampanelli, and Cindy (Duane) Everhart; and her beloved grandchildren, Jesse Funk Ortiz, Lilyana Torres (fiancé Armoni Williams), Alex Palacios, and Jose Villalva.
A Memorial Service will be held at Fisher Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 7 p.m. with Chaplain Tom Covington officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 5 to 7 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Almost Home Humane Society in loving memory of Debby.
