Frances G. Ochoa (Tiny) was called to heaven on Sunday, February 9th, 2025. She lived in La Luz, NM, until the age of 61. She was born on August 29th, 1963, in Ruidoso, NM.

Tiny loved to sing and dance, and she showed her love through acts of service. Little things like her daughter coming home to a clean house, long walks with her grandson Noah and baby Sugar, taking a cruise with her Dez, leaving voicemails on her hita Justice’s phone, and joking around with her grandsons Elijah and Damien made her happy. She would give her last dollar to her kids without them asking she was a very giving soul.

Tiny was preceded in death by her father, Frank Gonzales, and her brother, Pino Gonzales.

Tiny is survived by her mother, Mildred Gonzales; children Laura and Tj Montoya, Trisha Ochoa, and Sugar Gonzales; grandchildren Justice and Savion Marquez, Destiny, Elijah, and Damien Montoya, Noah and Unique Gonzales; and her siblings Terry and Henry Rosas, Aundrea, Frankie, Andy, and Gonzales Gonzales. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Ruidoso Downs at 10 AM. Burial will take place at the Ruidoso-Hondo Valley Memorial Park.

There are no words that can express our gratitude to Mesilla Valley Hospice during the last days of my mother’s life. We were blessed to have had Evie and all the staff by our sides.
