Frances Rivera a.k.a Frannie, Fran was born May 25,1968 in Bronx NY., to parents Mary Rivera and Cruz Esteban Rivera.
Frances graduated from Norman Thomas High School and went on to Bronx Community College for her Associates Degree in Accounting. In her younger years Frances obtained many talents such as Drawing, Track and Field, She was in a band and played the drums. Some other talents were skating with her older brother, she also played hand ball with her family. Frances was extremely gifted in Math and received a academic scholarship for Accounting.
Frances worked at the DOE at her children's Elementary School (P.S 129) for several years before moving on to New York City Housing Authority where she worked as a Caretaker J and later moving into the position of a Administrator for CCTV, where she retired due to leg injury.
Frances truly enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, t.v shows, spending time with her family and grandchildren, shopping and the holidays. She was very knowledgeable and knew how to travel around the whole NYC. She had an eye for unique finds that would later become popular. Very handy and had a knowledgeable outlook on situations,people and things, which made everyone seek her input. She loved and cared for everyone, that was in her life and made sure she was able to help and be supportive to the ones in need. Frances was caring, giving, loyal, funny, charismatic, witty, compassionate, and everything a genuine soul could be made of. She had a big heart and she loved tic tocs.
Frances leaves behind to mourn her parents Mary and Cruz, her two daughters Ebony and Dashia, her siblings Steven, Lurdes, Andrew, Chris and significant other fiance Carlos and dog susie
Frances also leaves to mourn her 5 grandchildren
Alashia, Jamier, Jae'lah,Aiden, Jaelyn, Aunts,Uncles, a bunch of nieces, nephews, cousins, stepchildren, godchildren and many loving friends.
Frances will always be remembered as a wonderful Mother, Sister, Daughter,Aunt, Grandma,and Stepmom. Her beautiful soul has left a tremendous light that will forever shine bright on this earth. Her friendship, laughter, witty personality, love will be missed.
