Frances Marie Saacks

Frances Marie Larousse Saacks was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She loved to talk to people and never met a stranger. A natural tomboy and proud Cajun girl, she loved to play baseball and work on her memoir of living in south Louisiana. She had a spiritual affinity for angels and believed in counting her blessings. Frances had a vibrant and charming personality and a gift for bringing smiles to faces. She worked as an in demand private investigator and owned her own business in the early 80's.

She was born in Mathews, Louisiana and lived in Thibodaux, Raceland and the greater New Orleans area. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 30, 2025. Before her passing, she was working on her autobiography which she titled "Heaven Under My Roof."

She is survived by her daughter Michele, her son Brian, his wife Jessica and her 5 grandchildren: Mia, Christopher, Hannah, Evie and Tracy. She is preceded in death by her father Louis Percy Larousse, Sr., her mother Joyce Mae Hernandez Larousse and her brother Lincoln Joseph Larousse.

Frances was deeply loved and will be missed.
