Frances Tarbox, 85, of Titusville, FL, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025. She was born in Fort Worth, TX, and enjoyed a long and fulfilling career at Kennedy Space Center, retiring after 26 years with United Space Alliance.
Frances had a deep love for traveling and cruising, always seeking new adventures. She was also passionate about giving back to her community, dedicating her time as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Above all, family was the most important part of her life.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Douglas Kelley; her children, Fred Tarbox III (Debra), Ted Tarbox (Kathryn), Bill Thomas (Connie), James Thomas (Dawn), Grady Thomas (Sheryl), Mark Kelley (Diane), Kandie Cotton (Jimmy), and Kathy Moore (James); as well as her cherished grandchildren, Fred IV, Nicole, Lee, Ted Jr., Tiffany, Melissa, Judie, Nicole, Tracey, Jennifer, Damien, Hylay, Cory, and Robby. Great grandchildren; Fred V, Carmon, Brody, Joshua, Lexi. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Tarbox Jr.
A service to honor and celebrate Frances' life will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at North Brevard Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a service at 3:00 PM.
Frances will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
