Frances Yacomino Vance, 80 of Sanford and Cameron, passed away Thursday October 3, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday October 10th at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery.
Mrs. Vance was born in Holden, WV daughter of the late Louie Yacomino and Theresa Varacalli Yacomino. She was kind and nurturing spirit who loved God and her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, flowers and hummingbirds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Leo Edward Vance; daughter Diana Frye, sister Mary Mullens; brother John Yacomino; niece Cindy Mullins; and nephews David Spradling, Louis Yacomino, and Johnny Yacomino.
Mrs. Vance is survived by son Steven Vance; grandchildren Laura Frye, Natalie Slocomb, and Bradley Vance; greatgrandchildren Jayson Frye, Ava Fallin, Charlotte Fallin, Caleb Slocomb, and Mia Slocomb; sister Cathryn A. Spradling-Gullett; and niece Linda Pridemore; and many other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday October 9, 2024, at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home.
