Frances Vaughan Obituary
Frances Sykes Vaughan, age 92, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025.
She is survived by her son, Frank Vaughan (Cindy); daughter, Linda Frasher; brother, William Sykes (Cindy); sister, Dylcie Daughtrey (Darien); grandchildren, Chris, Clay, Justin, Bonny; great grandchildren, Kayla, Alexis, Draven; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William W Sykes and Lessie Gilbert Sykes; Charles Vaughan Jr., her husband of 61 years; and son, Ronnie Vaughan.
Frankie was a loving and devoted wife, Mother, and friend. She loved life and people and was a faithful member of Yeopim Baptist Church. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, stamp collecting, taking pictures and keeping photo albums of the family.
The family will receive friends from 11:30-12:30 on Tuesday January 28 followed by a 12:30 pm Celebration of Life Service at Little’s Funeral Home, 1515 S Church Street, Smithfield VA 23430. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm at Hampton Memorial Garden.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com
