Frances Kay Kelso Woodruff, born on September 26, 1955, in Springfield, MO, passed away on September 13, 2025, at her home. She will be remembered for her vibrant personality and deep love for her family and friends.
A skilled mechanic known for her dedication to her craft, Fran took immense pride in working on cars, with her beloved GTO holding a special place in her heart. Throughout her life, she enjoyed showcasing her hard work by driving down Kearney, a cherished memory for many. Fran was known for her love of Bengal tigers and riding her motorcycles. Her ornery spirit will forever be missed.
Fran was preceded in death by her parents G.W. Kelso and Mary Frances (Shank) Chastain. As well as a sister Peggy Lane.
She is survived by her daughter Cyndi Gregory and her husband Darren, her son Vernon Woodruff, and her daughter Allison Porecca; as well as grandchildren Keegan, Shila, Ivey, Oddessa, and Jaedyn; her siblings Alvin Chastain and Debbie Smith as well as her precious dogs Diddles and Radar; and many dear friends.
Fran's legacy of loyalty, friendship, and love for family will live on in the hearts of those she touched. In her memory, family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate the beautiful life she led on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, North from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
