Frances Wright Obituary
Frances “Ann” Derryberry Wright, 102, resident of Franklin, died Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Claiborne & Hughes Nursing & Rehab.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday February 23, 2023 at 2:00 P.M at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Franklin, TN. Bro. Brandon Cochran officiating. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born May 25, 1921 in Williamson County, Tennessee to the late Thomas Andrew Derryberry and the late Anise Milton Gillespie Derryberry. Ann was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Wright worked as a receptionist for Dr. Leon Gerson until retirement. Surviving family members are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings; Owen Derryberry, James Derryberry, Jessie Lorene Parrish, Robbie Wilhoite, Margaret Oakley, Tommie Allene Lovell, Mariellen McRae, and Alpha Blackburn.
