Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Douglas Wright will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11 AM at the graveside in the cemetery of Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road in East Dublin, Georgia. Reverend Charlie Robinson will officiate.
Mr. Jerry Douglas Wright was born on Tuesday, June 1, 1948, in Wrightsville, Georgia, to parentage, Douglas Wright and Laura Mae Williams Wright.
Jerry Wright was called to rest on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister, Martha Ann Wright Moore, four brothers, Lamar Vernard Wright, Billy Wright, Jerome Wright, and Wayne Wright, Sr., nephews, Elton LaFondae Clover and Robert Foster, and niece, Desiree Abrams.
He leaves to mourn his precious memories a loving sister, Diane (Charles) Wright Walker of Dexter, Georgia, son, Michael Wright of Detroit, Michigan, daughter, Makia Wright of Tampa, Florida, his nieces, Carla Horne, and Terrica Dunn of Dublin, Georgia, Shona Wright Gibson, Pamela Wright and Tika Graddy of Wrightsville, Georgia, Diamond Parker of Dudley, Georgia, and Celita Foster Thomas of Virginia, nephews, Nicholas Walker-Clover of East Dublin, Georgia, Travis Wright and Dewayne Abrams, both of Dublin, Georgia, Wayne Wright, Jr., Brandon Wright, Tyke Hodges, and Eldrick Graddy, all of Wrightsville, Georgia, and a very special friend, Mary Alice Wiley of Wrightsville, Georgia.
