Francesca Pagano of Congers, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 4, 1939, in Corleone, Sicily, to Maria and Pasquale Gallina. Francesca carried her Sicilian roots with pride throughout her life, expressing her love most deeply through family, tradition, and unwavering love to those she cherished.
She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 40 years, Fausto Pagano, and her devoted daughters: Maria DeSanctis (Robert), Elena Tancredi, and Joanne Api (Joseph, pre-deceased). She was the proud and loving grandmother of Diana Cameron (Anthony), Kristin Tancredi (Sage), Thomas Tancredi (Allisson), Victoria Dapolito (Christopher), and Joseph Api (Alexandra), and a cherished great-grandmother to Gabriella and Dominic Cameron.
Francesca was pre-deceased by her brother, Joseph Gallina.
Above all else, Francesca was a mother and grandmother whose love knew no bounds. Her strength, warmth, and quiet sacrifices shaped generations, and her presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
